Führerbunker

The Führerbunker, translating to ‘leader’s bunker’ in German, was the fortified underground air raid shelter where Adolf Hitler spent his final days and ultimately took his own life as World War II drew to a close. Located in Berlin, this site once housed the complex network of bunkers and tunnels that served as the Nazi leadership’s last refuge. Today, visitors will find only an information board marking the spot, providing a somber reminder of the bunker’s historical significance and the events that transpired there.
