Freedom Plaza

Freedom Plaza, a block-long public space located on Pennsylvania Avenue just a few blocks from the White House, is inscribed with Pierre Charles L’Enfant’s original 1791 design for Washington DC. The plaza features engravings of quotes from notable figures and a statue of soldier Casimir Pulaski. Visitors can explore the historical layout of the city and read the inspiring words etched into the ground, making it a popular gathering place for both locals and tourists.
