Franklin Court

First opened in 1976 to commemorate the bicentennial, Franklin Court is an indoor-outdoor museum in Philadelphia, situated on the site where Benjamin Franklin once lived. The original home was demolished in 1812, leaving only the foundations, which are now complemented by steel ‘ghost structures’ that outline the footprint of Franklin’s house and his grandson’s printing business.
