Forsyth Park

Forsyth Park, nestled in the heart of Savannah’s historical downtown, has been a central city landmark since the mid-1800s. Named after John Forsyth, the 33rd governor of Georgia, who donated 20 acres of land, the park features a large Parisian-style fountain at its north end. Visitors can stroll under the sprawling oak trees, their branches draped with Spanish moss, creating a serene and shaded environment.
