Fimmvörðuháls

The Fimmvörðuháls area, located in Iceland, is renowned for the Fimmvörðuháls Trail, a 15-mile (25-kilometer) route that traverses a diverse and dramatic landscape. Hikers on this trail encounter 26 waterfalls, volcanoes, ice caps, glaciers, lava fields, and rivers, making it a remarkable journey through the country’s natural wonders.
