Fethiye Mosque

The Fethiye Mosque, a rare example of Ottoman architecture in Athens, dates back to the 17th century and has recently undergone restoration. Located near the Tower of the Winds, its exterior features tiled domes, an arched portico, and marble columns, all of which are easily visible and admired from the outside. While the mosque is not regularly open to the public, it hosts special exhibitions and cultural events, offering visitors a chance to experience its historical and architectural significance. The interplay of these elements creates a striking visual contrast with the surrounding Greek structures.
