Rising from the Mediterranean Sea near the resort of Cala Santanyi in southeast Mallorca, Es Pontàs is a natural, free-standing limestone sea arch. Standing just offshore, this impressive formation reaches a height of around 65 feet (20 meters). Visitors often gather on the nearby cliffs to admire and photograph the arch, while experienced climbers and high divers are drawn to its challenging features. The rugged, weathered texture of the limestone and the arch’s dramatic silhouette against the sea make it a striking sight.
