Dongbaek Island (Dongbaekseom)

Dongbaek Island, or Dongbaekseom, is a picturesque area in Busan that, despite its name, is no longer an island. Once separated from the mainland, it is now connected by a land bridge formed from accumulated sediment. The name ‘Dongbaek’ comes from the numerous camellia trees that thrive here, adding splashes of color and fragrance to the landscape. Visitors can stroll along the coastal paths, enjoying the serene views and the natural beauty of the lush greenery. The area offers a tranquil escape, with the sound of waves and the sight of the sea making it a favorite spot for both locals and tourists.
