Dark Hedges

The Dark Hedges, a tree tunnel near Belfast, was planted in the 18th century to enhance the approach to Gracehill House. Lined with beech trees, their overhanging and intertwined branches create a natural, almost otherworldly, archway. This eerie beauty has attracted both amateur and professional photographers for decades. Today, the site is also a popular destination for fans of HBO’s Game of Thrones, who come to experience the atmospheric setting that featured in the series.
