Housed in the baroque former church of St. Mary Magdalene, a 17th-century architectural gem, the Czech Museum of Music is one of the National Museum’s five institutions. Inside, visitors can explore over 400 historical musical instruments, each with its own story and significance. The museum features both permanent and rotating exhibitions, offering a dynamic experience that delves into the rich history of music. Regular concerts bring the exhibits to life, allowing guests to hear the sounds of these historic instruments in the resonant acoustics of the old church.
