Founded in 1890, the Cuauhtémoc Moctezuma Brewery (Cervecería Cuauhtémoc Moctezuma) in Monterrey, Mexico, began producing its first beer in 1893. The brewery’s initial brew was so well-received that it won first prizes at the Chicago and Paris world fairs. Now a subsidiary of Heineken, the brewery retains its old-world charm, inviting visitors to explore its grounds. A popular beer garden welcomes travelers, offering a free glass of Bohemia, Dos Equis, or Carta Blanca, allowing guests to savor the flavors that have made the brewery a beloved institution.
