Cole Land Transportation Museum

Established in 1990 by Galen and Sue Cole, the Cole Land Transportation Museum in Bangor, Maine, stands as a tribute to the state’s rich transportation history. Galen, a decorated soldier and president of Cole’s Express, founded the museum to preserve and showcase a collection of 77 antique vehicles, donated by the state and community. Visitors can explore a diverse array of exhibits, including snowplows, military memorabilia, motorcycles, fire engines, and farming equipment, each offering a glimpse into the evolution of land transportation in Maine.
