Chobhar Village, nestled on the southwestern edge of the Kathmandu Valley, is a small town primarily inhabited by the ethnic Newari people. Despite being just 5 miles (8 kilometers) from Kathmandu, it retains a distinctly rural character. Visitors can explore the village’s traditional Newari architecture and experience the rhythms of rural Nepali life. The area is also popular among cyclists, offering scenic routes and a chance to immerse in the local culture.
