Bundesplatz, located outside the Swiss Parliament building in Bern, transformed from an uninspiring space into a vibrant public square following a renovation in 2003. Today, it hosts a variety of events, including twice-weekly markets, concerts, sporting activities, and political gatherings. In the winter, an ice rink adds to its appeal, while a light show illuminates the area in the fall. Visitors can experience a dynamic and multifaceted urban space that reflects the city’s cultural and social life.
