Fernando Botero, celebrated for his distinctive sculptures with plump proportions, has also earned a place in the hearts of Colombians through his generosity. At the height of his career, he donated over 150 pieces, valued at $200 million, to the Colombian government. This collection is now housed in the Botero Museum (Museo Botero) in Bogotá, where visitors can explore a rich array of his works, including both his own creations and those from his personal collection, all free of charge.
