Nestled atop a mountain in the UNESCO-listed Morne Trois Pitons National Park, the Boiling Lake is the second largest body of hot water on Earth. Formed from a flooded volcanic fumarole, the lake’s grey-blue waters are constantly shrouded in mist. As you peer through the swirling steam, the bubbling surface of the lake becomes visible, encircled by steep cliffs. Visitors can experience the unique and dramatic landscape, where the earth’s geothermal activity is on full display.
