Benjamin Franklin’s Grave

The final resting place of American founding father Benjamin Franklin is located on the northwest corner of the Christ Church Burial Ground in Philadelphia, a site that also houses the graves of several other signatories of the Declaration of Independence. The simple, unadorned stone marking Franklin’s grave is shared with his wife, Deborah, and bears only their names and the year 1790, the year of his death.
