Barker’s National Park

Barker’s National Park

Barker’s National Park, situated on a peninsula at the eastern end of West Bay on Grand Cayman, marks the first national park in the Cayman Islands. This undeveloped and largely unmarked area features dense mangrove swamps, lagoons, and wetlands, creating a natural habitat for diverse wildlife. Long stretches of often deserted beach offer a serene escape, with the sound of waves and the sight of untouched nature. Visitors can explore the park’s rugged terrain and enjoy the tranquility of its pristine environment, free from the usual amenities found in more developed parks.
