A-Ma Temple, one of Macau’s oldest temples, was built in 1488 to honor A-Ma, the goddess of the sea, also known as Mazu and Tin Hau. Nestled on a hill overlooking the Inner Harbour, the temple consists of multiple prayer pavilions spread across different levels. This historic site is part of the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Historic Centre of Macau. Visitors can explore the intricately designed pavilions and enjoy panoramic views of the harbor, immersing themselves in the serene and spiritual atmosphere that has drawn worshippers for centuries.
