In the Middle Ages, Bologna was a city of over 100 towers, but today only 20 remain. Among these is the Torre Prendiparte, the second-highest in the city, rising nearly 200 feet (60 meters) above the streets. Located in the heart of Bologna, this tower offers visitors the chance to ascend its internal staircase to a panoramic rooftop. From there, one can enjoy sweeping views over the historic center, taking in the red-tiled roofs and narrow, winding streets below.
