Ratu Boko Temple

Perched on a hill with sweeping views over the Prambanan temples, Ratu Boko was not a temple but a palace, likely serving as the main court of the Mataram dynasty in the 8th century. The extensive complex features remnants of bathing pools, meditation caves, an elaborate gateway, and various halls, along with a cremation platform. Though now in ruins, the site offers a captivating glimpse into the past and serves as a popular spot to watch the sunset.
