Kedar Ghat

Kedar Ghat, one of five locally sacred ghats in Varanasi, is among the city’s oldest and most visited. Nestled on the banks of the Ganges River, it features distinct red and white steps that lead down to the water. The ghat is home to the Kedarnath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, who is also the presiding deity of Varanasi. Visitors can explore the temple and experience the serene atmosphere of this historic site, where the gentle flow of the river and the vibrant colors of the steps create a unique and tranquil setting.
