Shanti Stupa

Perched on a rocky hill behind Ladakh, the Shanti Stupa in Leh stands as a striking white dome, visible from many parts of the popular Changspa neighborhood. Unlike the centuries-old Buddhist sites that dot the region, this stupa was built more recently. Its primary draw is the panoramic view it offers, encompassing the town of Leh and the majestic mountains beyond.
