Parliament Building (Vouli)

The Parliament Building (Vouli) in Athens, a massive neoclassical structure, dominates the east side of Syntagma Square. Originally built to house the Greek parliament, government halls, and archives, the building overlooks the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Visitors can observe the Changing of the Guard ceremony, which takes place every hour, drawing crowds to witness the precise and ceremonial display. The building’s imposing presence and historical significance make it a key site for understanding modern Greek governance and history.
