Tallinn TV Tower (Tallinna Teletorn)

Built in 1980 for the Moscow Summer Olympics, the Tallinn TV Tower stands at an impressive 1,030 feet (314 meters) high. In 1991, it played a pivotal role in Estonia’s independence movement when locals defended the tower against Soviet forces, cementing its status as a national symbol. Today, visitors can ascend to the observation deck for panoramic views, explore the on-site museum, and dine at the restaurant, all while experiencing a piece of Estonia’s rich history.
