Nestled atop a mountain in the UNESCO-listed Morne Trois Pitons National Park, the Boiling Lake is the second largest body of hot water on Earth. Formed from a flooded volcanic fumarole, the lake’s grey-blue waters are constantly shrouded in mist. As you peer through the swirling steam, the bubbling surface of the lake becomes visible, encircled by steep cliffs.
