Mt. Olympus (Chionistra)

Rising above the Troodos Mountains, Mt. Olympus, also known as Chionistra, stands as the highest peak in Cyprus. Surrounded by evergreen forests and cool air, the mountain offers a network of trails that attract hikers and cyclists during the summer months. In winter, when snow blankets the summit, the Cyprus Ski Club operates four ski lifts, providing access to the island’s only downhill skiing. Visitors can explore the lush, forested slopes and enjoy year-round outdoor activities, from hiking and cycling to skiing.
