Nestled in the mountains of Costa Rica, the Monteverde Butterfly Gardens spans 3 acres and offers a unique glimpse into the world of butterflies and other insects. The sanctuary is divided into four climate-controlled habitats, each designed to support over 30 species of butterflies. Visitors can also observe 20 species of arachnids and insects, as well as a colony of leaf-cutter ants. This carefully curated environment allows guests to see these creatures up close, providing an educational and immersive experience.
