Lama Temple (Yonghegong)

The Lama Temple, also known as Yonghegong, originally served as a palace for Emperor Yongzheng before he ascended to the throne as the third emperor of the Qing Dynasty. Located in Beijing, this significant Tibetan Buddhist temple outside Tibet now houses a lamasery with about two dozen Tibetan monks.
