Nestled in the shadow of the Canadian Rockies, the Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary provides a home for over 20 resident wolf dogs, hybrids resulting from the interbreeding between domestic dogs and wolves. Many of these animals were abandoned or surrendered by their previous owners. The sanctuary offers guided tours where visitors can learn about, view, and interact with these fascinating creatures.
