Biograph Theater

Opened in 1914, the Biograph Theater in Chicago stands as one of the early American movie houses and now serves as the home of the Victory Gardens Theater. This historic landmark is deeply embedded in the city’s gangster history; it was here that notorious bank robber John Dillinger met his end, shot by the FBI in 1934. Today, the theater remains a significant stop on Windy City ghost and gangster tours, drawing visitors to its storied walls.
