Cameron Park Zoo

Cameron Park Zoo, situated along the Brazos River in Waco, spans 52 acres and is home to over 1,700 animals from 300 species. The zoo is divided into four distinct sections: the African Savanna, Asian Forest, The Meadows, and Brazos River Country, each offering a unique array of wildlife and attractions. Visitors can explore these diverse habitats, observing animals in settings that mimic their natural environments. Throughout the year, the zoo hosts a variety of animal presentations, themed events, and special programs, providing a dynamic and educational experience for all ages.
