Foothills Parkway

The Foothills Parkway, a scenic route through Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Tennessee, extends for 72 miles (115 kilometers), though only 22.5 miles (36 kilometers) are open to the public. Construction on the remaining sections has been ongoing since 1944. The three completed segments offer a quieter and more relaxed journey compared to other park roadways.
