Kampong Sungai Bunga

Kampong Sungai Bunga, a modern water village in Brunei, stands in contrast to the opulence of Bandar Seri Begawan. Rooted in the country’s age-old traditions, this village features recently renovated houses on stilts, providing a glimpse into the unique water-based cultures of the capital. Accessible only by boat and located seven miles (11 kilometers) from the city center, visitors can explore the stilted homes and experience the daily life and heritage of the community.
