Nestled in the lush landscape of Oahu, Manoa Falls is a 150-foot (46-meter) waterfall that emerges at the end of a moderate 1.5-mile (2.4-kilometer) hike, just a short distance from Downtown Honolulu. The well-marked trail, complete with a paid parking lot and gravel path, makes it one of the island’s most accessible hikes. While swimming in the pool at its base is no longer permitted, the journey rewards visitors with stunning views of the cascading water. Be prepared for a muddy trek, so wear sturdy, comfortable shoes.
