Beitou Hot Spring Museum

Originally constructed as a bathhouse by the Japanese Colonial Government in 1913, the Beitou Hot Spring Museum stands in Taipei, Taiwan. At the time of its construction, it was the largest bathhouse in East Asia and the first public bathhouse in Taiwan. After falling into disuse following World War II, the building underwent renovation and reopened in 1998 as a museum. Today, visitors can explore the site to learn about the history and culture of Beitou’s hot springs, experiencing the architectural and historical significance of this landmark.
