The Dingling Tomb, also known as the Mausoleum of Emperor Wanli, is located in Beijing and was the first of the 13 Ming royal tombs to be opened to the public. This underground palace serves as the final resting place for Emperor Wanli, Zhu Yijun, who reigned longer than any other Ming Dynasty emperor, along with his two wives, Xiaoduan and Xiaojing. Visitors can explore the tomb and an onsite museum that showcases over 3,000 artifacts excavated from the site, offering a glimpse into the opulence and cultural significance of the Ming Dynasty.
