Located in the north of Sichuan Province, Jiuzhai Valley, also known as Jiuzhaigou Valley, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of China’s most spectacular nature reserves. Spanning 278 square miles (720 square kilometers), the valley captivates visitors with its vibrant, multi-hued lakes and cascading waterfalls, set against a backdrop of snow-capped mountains. The area is also home to diverse wildlife and a rich Tibetan cultural heritage.
