Elephant Trunk Hill, or Xiangbishan, has been a Guilin landmark since the Tang Dynasty and is often regarded as a symbol of the city. Named for its resemblance to a giant elephant drinking from the Li River, this natural formation rises over 180 feet (55 meters) above the water. Visitors can explore the hill’s unique shape and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, making it one of Guilin’s top attractions.
