Wailua River

Wailua River, the largest navigable river in the Hawaiian archipelago, winds through a lush valley on the island of Kauai. Protected by Wailua River State Park, this 20-mile (32-kilometer) waterway meanders past dense jungle landscapes and two notable waterfalls, Opaekaa Falls and Wailua Falls.
