Cubbyhole

Rainbow flags, painted flower stencils, and an eclectic montage of paper lanterns greet visitors at the Cubbyhole, one of the few remaining lesbian bars in New York City. Originally opened as DT’s Fat Cat in 1987, it transformed into the Cubbyhole in 1994. This cozy, vibrant space has since served as a welcoming haven for the LGBTQ+ community and anyone looking to enjoy its inclusive atmosphere. Today, visitors can experience a warm, colorful setting that continues to celebrate diversity and provide a safe, friendly environment for all.
