The Royal Museum of Fine Arts Antwerp (KMSKA), located in the heart of Belgium’s cultural hub, opened its doors in 1890. Renowned for housing one of the world’s largest collections of works by Flemish baroque painter Peter Paul Rubens, the museum also features masterpieces by other Flemish masters like van Dyck and Jordaens. Its galleries span centuries, with 15th-century artworks displayed alongside more modern creations by artists such as Titian, Modigliani, and Rodin. Currently closed for renovation, the museum is set to reopen in 2020, though many of its treasures can still be viewed at various venues throughout the city.
