Discovery Point

Nestled on the banks of the River Tay in Dundee, Discovery Point houses the RRS Discovery, a historic Antarctic research vessel. This ship, built for the harsh polar conditions, played a pivotal role in the Discovery Expedition of 1901–04, where Robert Falcon Scott and Ernest Shackleton embarked on their first journey to the Antarctic.
