Nestled in the heart of Ravello, Italy, the Ravello Duomo, also known as the Basilica di Santa Maria Assunta e San Pantaleone, presents a modest yet striking appearance with its white facade and unadorned bell tower. The basilica’s main attractions include the intricately inscribed bronze doors and a remarkable pulpit, supported by six marble lions and embellished with detailed mosaics of birds and dragons. Inside, visitors can also view an ampoule containing what is believed to be the blood of St. Pantaleone, which, according to tradition, liquefies annually on the anniversary of his martyrdom.
