Bridal Veil Falls, the smallest of the three waterfalls that make up the world-famous Niagara Falls, is located on the US side. Despite its name, this 56-foot-wide (17-meter-wide) waterfall is a powerful natural wonder, plummeting 78 feet (24 meters) in a frothy white cascade. The veil-like appearance of the falling water, reminiscent of a bride’s wedding veil, inspired its name. Visitors can witness the thunderous rush and admire the dynamic display of nature’s force.
