Nestled between the historic Dilworth and Myers Park neighborhoods, Freedom Park is often referred to as the Central Park of Charlotte. Spanning 98 acres, the park offers a variety of features, including a 7-acre lake, expansive green spaces, and a network of walking and biking trails. Visitors can also enjoy sporting fields and courts, a demonstration garden, and a bandshell that hosts community events. The park’s concessions provide refreshments, making it a perfect spot for both recreation and relaxation.
