Apache Trail Scenic Drive

The Apache Trail Scenic Drive, named after the American Indians who once used it to migrate through the Superstition Mountains, is a 120-mile (193-kilometer) circular route in Arizona. Starting from Apache Junction on the edge of the Greater Phoenix area, the trail winds steeply for 40 miles (64 kilometers) through rugged desert mountains.
