Lunt-Fontanne Theatre

The Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, located in the heart of New York City, has a rich and storied history. Originally opened in 1910 as the Globe Theatre, it was named after Shakespeare’s famous playhouse and even featured a retractable roof. After a period as a Midtown movie house, it was rechristened the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre in 1958.
