Nestled within Tennessee’s Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the Quiet Walkways are a series of 14 lesser-known trails, each marked by small brown signs with white lettering. These paths, known for their tranquility and fewer crowds, offer an easy and accessible experience, making them ideal for families. Most of the walkways lead to a creek or stream, providing ample space for visitors to pause and savor the natural surroundings. The gentle sounds of flowing water and the serene forest setting create a peaceful atmosphere, inviting hikers to connect with nature in a more intimate way.
