Drake’s Seat, named after Sir Francis Drake who allegedly used this vantage point to watch for enemy ships, was constructed in 1933 by Arthur Fairchild. Perched just a short distance from Charlotte Amalie, the site provides visitors with sweeping views of Magens Bay and the British Virgin Islands. Today, guests can enjoy the panoramic vistas, taking in the lush greenery and the azure waters that stretch out to the horizon.
